A technology-driven financial-services organization is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a small infrastructure team supporting enterprise and cloud networking environments. This role combines hands-on network engineering, cloud connectivity, troubleshooting, resiliency, and ongoing infrastructure improvement. The engineer will work across traditional networking and AWS environments, with particular emphasis on Juniper technologies and AWS networking. Professional Mandarin Chinese proficiency is required. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, data center, and cloud network infrastructure.Engineer and maintain AWS network environments including VPCs, routing, connectivity, DNS, and network segmentation.Configure and troubleshoot Juniper and Cisco networking technologies.Support high availability, redundancy, failover, and disaster-recovery connectivity.Act as an escalation point for complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network incidents and perform root-cause analysis.Support network upgrades, migrations, infrastructure improvements, and data-center initiatives.Maintain network diagrams, configurations, topology documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams on network architecture and operational improvements. Role Requirements 5+ years of enterprise network engineering, administration, or operations experience.Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.Strong hands-on Juniper networking experience.Strong AWS networking experience.Solid routing and switching fundamentals including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies.Experience troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.Understanding of hybrid-cloud connectivity and network segmentation.Ability to take ownership of incidents, root-cause analysis, and infrastructure improvements.Ability to work onsite three days per week in the New York City / New Jersey area. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Cisco IOS or NX-OS.AWS Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53, ALB/NLB, Security Groups, or NACLs.Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Python network automation.Zero Trust or Zscaler.CCNP, JNCIP, CCIE, or comparable certification.Financial-services experience.
