Must Have Technical/Functional Skills · Strong expertise in Core Java, JDK 21 or later, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services, and microservices architecture. · Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Container Apps (ACA), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Static Web Apps. · Strong experience with asynchronous/event-driven messaging using Solace and/or Kafka. · Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning and managing Azure resources and environments. · Experience with CI/CD, containerization, cloud deployments, monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting. · Good understanding of application security, secrets management, access controls, resiliency, scalability, and performance · considerations in Azure. · Experience in investment banking / capital markets is strongly preferred. · Knowledge of trade processing, trade lifecycle, and related upstream/downstream integrations would be an advantage. Roles & Responsibilities · Lead a team of developers and provide hands-on technical guidance, mentoring, code reviews, and engineering best practices. · Work with business and technology stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions. · Analyze the current application architecture, functionality, interfaces, and dependencies and define the approach for migration to the new application/platform. · Design and develop scalable Java/Spring Boot services to enhance existing trade-processing capabilities. · Lead application modernization and migration activities across ACA/AKS, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, ADLS, ADF, and related Azure services. · Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for Azure infrastructure and environment changes. · Drive troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across application, messaging, database, cloud, and integration layers. · Ensure appropriate engineering standards for code quality, automated testing, security, observability, performance, resiliency, and production readiness. · Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, infrastructure, security, testing, and business teams to deliver solutions end to end. · Create and maintain technical design, deployment, operational, and support documentation.
