Job description

ABOUT VERA HEALTH Vera is the fastest-growing clinical app for healthcare professionals in the world. Five people built it. We’re already operating at a scale most teams never reach, with a team most people would think is too small to pull it off. That’s by design. Everyone here runs at a level that compresses what would normally take entire teams. We keep it that way by only hiring people who raise the standard the moment they join. We’re building the founding team. The people who join now will define how this company operates for the next decade, and shape the future of healthcare. The role You’ll be the pen and the mind behind how Vera is perceived by the world. Vera is already one of the fastest clinical products in history, built and scaled without marketing, and now the opportunity is to take that momentum and turn it into something unmistakable, a brand people recognize instantly, a point of view that cuts through the noise, and a story that carries as far as the product itself can go. This isn’t about running ads or optimizing funnels, it’s about how we put what we stand for into the world, how we speak, and how that shows up consistently across everything we do, from how we describe the product to how we engage with clinicians, partners, and press. To do this well, you need to understand the product deeply enough that you’re not relying on messaging layers or abstractions, but can explain exactly what it does, why clinicians trust it, and what makes it different, because the only way this works is if it comes from that level of clarity. You’ll work directly with the founders on positioning, narrative, and how Vera shows up externally, with full ownership and no existing structure to lean on, which means you’re not just executing on a direction, you’re setting it, and the standard you set will carry forward as the company grows. WHAT YOU'D DO - Work directly with the founders on how the company is understood, not just how it grows - Own how Vera shows up in the world, from brand and voice to positioning and story - Take what’s already working and turn it into something deliberate and scalable - Write everything that matters, from product launches to narrative to day-to-day communication - Decide how we reach clinicians in ways that actually land - Own marketing from day one and and shape what it becomes WHO YOU ARE - You’re creative and come up with ideas people remember - You've built a brand before - You understand product-led growth - You go deep on the product and the users, not just the messaging - You move fast and don't need a big team to make things happen - You want to own this, not just run it HOW WE WORK Ship, then improve. We get things in front of users fast and let real feedback drive iteration. A feature in production teaches you more than a month of planning. Own it completely. There's no handoff culture here. You take a problem and see it through, from first principles to production. Always look out for the user. Every decision comes back to the clinician on the other end. If it doesn't make their day better, it doesn't ship. WHY VERA - Rocketship traction: 100%+ MoM growth, built by a team of 5 - Real impact: Every feature you build helps clinicians make better decisions and save lives - Best time to join: We’ve just raised our Series A and are entering the most important phase of the company, where a small team defines everything that comes next DETAILS - Location: San Francisco (strongly preferred). For exceptional candidates, remote or relocation support (O-1A / H-1B sponsorship) available. - Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful early-stage equity. Details shared in process. - Employment: Full-time
