The position sits at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, and data. The successful candidate will work directly in Adaptive, Excel and Snowflake and the company s business intelligence (BI) tools to source, validate, and automate recurring revenue reporting, rather than rebuilding it manually each period. Key Responsibilities ARR Reporting and Analytics Prepare and publish the monthly and quarterly ARR roll-forward, including new, expansion, contraction, and churn activity, along with net revenue retention (NRR) and gross revenue retention (GRR). Maintain the governing definitions for all recurring revenue metrics, and enforce consistent application across Finance, Sales, and Customer Success. Research and resolve variances at the contract level, and partner with Revenue Accounting on ASC 606 treatment and timing differences. Own the revenue forecast, including model construction, submission into the planning system, and period-over-period forecast accuracy tracking. Support the monthly close through revenue accruals, flux analysis, and variance commentary against budget, prior forecast, and prior year. Data, Systems, and Controls Serve as the Finance owner of recurring revenue data across Snowflake, the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, the billing platform, the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and the planning tool. Write and maintain Structured Query Language (SQL) queries in Snowflake to extract, validate, and reconcile recurring revenue data at scale. Build and maintain BI dashboards that give stakeholders self-service access to ARR and revenue reporting. Diagnose and remediate the root causes of data breaks, and reduce reliance on manual spreadsheet adjustments. Strengthen documentation and controls over ARR and revenue reporting to support audit, diligence, and internal review requirements. Business Partnering Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Accounting on pipeline-to-ARR conversion, retention drivers, and pricing or packaging changes. Present analysis with a clear recommendation and a defensible point of view. Contribute to modeling, reporting, and documentation standards across the FP&A team. Qualifications Required Six or more years of experience in FP&A, revenue finance, or a comparable analytical function, including experience at a SaaS or subscription business. Comprehensive understanding of recurring revenue mechanics, including ARR, NRR, GRR, bookings, billings, deferred revenue, and the relationships among them. Demonstrated reconciliation experience across multiple systems, with the ability to isolate and explain the drivers of a variance. Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel. Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience querying a cloud data warehouse, preferably Snowflake. Proficiency in at least one BI platform, with experience building and maintaining executive-facing dashboards. Strong written communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex variances concisely for an executive audience. Working knowledge of ASC 606 and the distinctions between revenue recognition and ARR. Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce and Adaptive. Experience supporting board reporting, an external audit, or a financing or diligence process. Experience automating recurring reporting processes in a data warehouse environment.
