Job description

About Redcar The American home services industry is a $543B market, and most of it still runs on people manually juggling schedules, follow-ups, and jobs in progress. Redcar builds Job Horizon Agents: AI that holds full context on a job from first touch to finish, and manages the entire customer experience for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical companies. We're building the world's only AI that helps home service companies manage their jobs. Our Agents don't just execute a single task; they act as autonomous team members for our customers' businesses, deciding when to act, when to wait, and when to loop in their team member for assistance. We're led by CEO Jeff Chen, who launched "Hey Google" (now on 3 billion devices), alongside an elite team from Stanford and Princeton. We're backed by Khosla Ventures (early investors in OpenAI, DoorDash, and Affirm) and a select group of angels. We're scaling fast and building the next unicorn at the center of the AI Agent revolution. We're hiring a small number of exceptional people to get us there - if that's you, let's talk. The Role Are you a high-energy competitor who is tired of selling bloated software for a slow-moving giant? Do you want to be a founding team member at a venture-backed AI startup? As our Founding SDR , you are the tip of the spear. You won't just execute a sequence; you will help build the GTM playbook . You will spend your days hunting in the "physical world" economy, utilizing cutting-edge AI tools to book 5-6 figure deals. This is a high-impact, high-reward role for someone who wants to fast-track their way to Account Executive or Sales Leadership. What You’ll Do • Execute outbound outreach across phone calls, personalized emails, in-person visits, and events to engage owners of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical businesses • Use tools like Clay, Apollo, Claude, and Gemini to automate the "boring" parts of prospecting so you can focus on high-value conversations • Conduct discovery calls to uncover pain points and demonstrate how Redcar’s Voice AI solves the "missed call" crisis • Maintain a meticulous record of your pipeline and work directly with the Founders and Head of GTM to refine our messaging in real-time What We're Looking For • 1-3 years of SDR experience outbounding via calling and emailing • You've sold into the mechanical trades business before (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) • Winner of President’s Club, Winner’s Circle, top of your cohort, etc. • Competitive, resilient, and driven to win (background in competitive sports is a plus) Compensation & Perks • OTE: $100,000 - $150,000 / year + uncapped commission with tiered accelerators • Equity: 0.05%-0.15% • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance • Perks: 3 weeks PTO, unlimited sick days • Company onsite once a quarter for remote team • We have both in-person and remote options available for this role!
