Job description

ABOUT ROGER Roger is an AI platform that frees home health clinicians from paperwork so they can focus on what matters: delivering life-changing care to our most vulnerable elderly patients in the comfort of their homes. Backed by leading healthcare investors like SignalFire, we've powered millions of visits, deployed to thousands of clinicians, and we're just getting started. THE ROLE This is a rare opportunity to operate as a true extension of the founders and gain an inside view into how a high-growth company is built. You'll own the hardest problems (starting off with growing the team), drive the highest-stakes decisions, and serve as a force multiplier across the entire business. You're the person the founders turn to when a problem is ambiguous, important, and doesn't have a clear owner. One day you may be leading a strategic planning process; the next you're driving a company-wide initiative, preparing for a board meeting, or partnering with leaders to solve a critical challenge. If you're sharp, unusually capable, and want a front-row seat to building a company, this is for you. The ideal person takes any task, however ambiguous, and runs with it. No task is too small, and none is too ambitious. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Partner with the founders as a force multiplier, freeing up their bandwidth wherever it matters most. - Own high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from start to finish, always focused on the company's top priorities. - Own hiring across the company, from the first conversation to the first day, partnering with leaders on GTM and technical roles. - Lead the candidate experience at the moments that matter most, including closing and onboarding. - Build and run the people side of Roger: how we support, grow, and reward our team as we scale. - Take on the urgent, undefined problems that don't yet have an owner, and turn founder priorities into shipped outcomes. YOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE - 5+ years of experience in a fast-growing startup or VC, and are hungry for growth and learning. - Experience hiring across both GTM and technical roles, and a track record of closing strong candidates. - A track record of owning ambiguous projects independently and getting them done, juggling many priorities at once without dropping anything. - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. You catch the things others miss and nothing slips. - A scrappy, resourceful approach. You figure things out, move fast, and thrive in ambiguity. - Excellent written and spoken English, and a clear, proactive communication style. You flag issues early and don't wait to be asked. - Trustworthiness and discretion. You'll have access to sensitive information and operate close to the founders. WHY JOIN US? 🏥 Platinum health, dental, and vision insurance 🏖️ Unlimited PTO 💰 Retirement: 401(k) plan 🚀 Unmatched career growth opportunity as an early hire 👩‍⚕️ Make a tangible difference in the lives of clinicians and patients 🧠 Work on a mission that matters, backed by AI innovation and top-tier investors Make a Real Difference - Hear from our Users: “If I had to give Roger a rating out of 10, I’d give it an 11! You guys changed my life!!” - G.M. from San Francisco, Registered Nurse “Roger AI saves me hours per day. I can easily focus on my patients now too.” - J.L. from Tucson, Registered Nurse “Being a single mom is tough, but with Roger I can take the time to go to my daughter’s soccer game and also pursue further education.” - T.M. from Dallas, Licensed Vocational Nurse
