• We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Enterprise Compliance / Case Management technology team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.

• Full-Stack Application Development
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build scalable and maintainable backend services, microservices, and APIs to support enterprise case management capabilities.
• Develop intuitive user interfaces and workflow-driven screens that streamline case management processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to modernization of legacy platforms by adopting current engineering standards, reusable design patterns, and cloud-aligned application architectures.
• Participate in technical design discussions and help shape application architecture, integration design, and development best practices.
• Case Management & Workflow Enablement
• Enhance case management applications to improve workflow automation, user experience, case tracking, and processing transparency.
• Partner with business users, product owners, and analysts to translate compliance and operational requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Build and support features that reduce manual intervention, improve turnaround times, and strengthen end-to-end process execution.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Enterprise Compliance / Case Management technology team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack application development, enterprise integration, modern Java-based backend engineering, and front-end development, with experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable platforms in a regulated environment. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, modernize, and support case management applications that improve workflow efficiency, reduce manual effort, strengthen operational controls, and support compliance-focused business processes. Case Management & Workflow Enablement • Enhance case management applications to improve workflow automation, user experience, case tracking, and processing transparency. • Partner with business users, product owners, and analysts to translate compliance and operational requirements into effective technical solutions. • Build and support features that reduce manual intervention, improve turnaround times, and strengthen end-to-end process execution. • Support integration of case management applications with upstream and downstream enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and operational continuity. • Develop solutions that improve visibility into case status, processing exceptions, and business workflow outcomes. Backend, Database & Integration Engineering • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support enterprise-scale application functionality. • Create and optimize database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, and SQL queries to support application processing and reporting. • Participate in end-to-end integration across enterprise applications, platforms, and services to ensure interoperability and reliable data movement. • Support performance tuning, structured data handling, and backend optimization to improve application responsiveness and maintainability. • Build reusable components and shared services that accelerate development and simplify ongoing support. Delivery, Quality & Engineering Excellence • Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD. • Conduct code reviews and manage merge requests to ensure adherence to engineering standards, maintainability, and secure coding practices. • Contribute to impact analysis, technical estimation, and implementation planning for enhancements, defects, and new features. • Support Agile delivery through active participation in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities. • Promote a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality delivery. Production Support, Stability & Continuous Improvement • Support applications in production and non-production environments with strong focus on stability, reliability, and SLA adherence. • Monitor application health, investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and support timely remediation of incidents and defects. • Analyze recurring issues and identify opportunities for automation, refactoring, and process improvement to reduce support overhead. • Maintain clear technical and support documentation aligned with SDLC and operational standards. • Contribute to platform resilience, supportability, and ongoing modernization efforts. Cloud, DevOps & Emerging Technology • Support CI/CD-aligned workflows and modern deployment practices using tools such as GitLab/Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Splunk, and related development toolsets. • Contribute to cloud-aligned engineering practices across platforms running in modern environments such as AWS and Azure. • Help integrate observability, diagnostics, and monitoring capabilities to improve application performance and operational insight. • Support adoption of AI and emerging technologies where appropriate to improve developer productivity, process efficiency, and user experience. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 7+ years of experience in full-stack software development required. • Strong experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and development of microservices and RESTful APIs. • Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Solid experience in SQL and database development including tables, stored procedures, views, and query optimization. • Experience with Agile methodology, CI/CD, application resiliency, and secure development practices. • Experience with development and engineering toolsets such as Git/GitLab, JUnit, SonarQube, Splunk, Jenkins, and related tooling. • Experience supporting enterprise application integration and workflow-based platforms. • Strong understanding of production support, issue triage, root cause analysis, and operational stability. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively with business users, developers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders in a collaborative environment. Preferred Skills • Experience working in the financial services sector, particularly in compliance, risk, or operational workflow platforms. • Experience with case management applications and workflow-driven enterprise systems. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or related modern deployment technologies. • Exposure to monitoring, diagnostics, and performance analysis tools. • Experience with modernization of legacy enterprise applications. • Familiarity with automation and AI-assisted development or process improvement initiatives. • Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to engineering best practices across teams.
