- Corporate Accounting
- Maintain the parent company books in QuickBooks on a current, closed-monthly basis — not a quarterly catch-up
- Code and reconcile all bank and credit card activity across corporate accounts, weekly
- Manage accounts payable, vendor setup and payment, and expense reimbursement
- Track intercompany activity between the management company and property entities, including reimbursables, allocated payroll, and fees
- Produce a monthly close package for the partners: P&L, balance sheet, cash position, and variance commentary
- Property Entity (PropCo) Accounting
- Review property-level financials on a monthly or quarterly cadence so errors are caught in-year rather than at year end
- Reconcile property operating accounts, reserve accounts, and lender-controlled accounts
- Track capital expenditures against budget and ensure proper capitalization versus expense treatment
- Coordinate with property management on CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and operating expense recoveries
