From the employer

Overview We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Microsoft 365 Fleet Innovation team, the group building the platform that puts the right infrastructure in the right places at the right time for Microsoft 365 workloads. Fleet Innovation sits at the center of the capacity lifecycle, turning capacity demand into production-ready infrastructure that powers some of Microsoft’s largest cloud services. In this role, you will design and build the systems that move capacity from demand signal to Live, tackling challenges in distributed systems, infrastructure orchestration, and automation across the end-to-end lifecycle. The scope spans capacity and supply signal intake, Azure resource provisioning, infrastructure prerequisites, validation, allocation, deallocation, and live fleet operations. You will own meaningful areas of the architecture, work across service and organizational boundaries, and use automation, data, and AI to make capacity delivery and fleet operations faster, safer, and increasingly autonomous. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
