Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Match Moth for use of the service. By creating an account or using Match Moth, you agree to them. We ask you to actively accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy when you create an account. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Match Moth is a job-search tool that gathers job listings from public sources, scores how well each one fits your profile, and helps you track your search. The fit scores, summaries, and any AI-generated text are informational aids to help you decide where to spend your time — they are not guarantees, advice, or a promise of a job.

• You must be at least 18 and use Match Moth for your own job search.
• Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Give us accurate information, and keep your preferences current so matching stays useful.

Your resume and the information you provide stay yours. You give Match Moth permission to store and process them to provide the service to you — including sending relevant parts to the AI provider described in our Privacy Policy to generate scores and summaries. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you upload, including information about other people such as imported connections.

Please do not:

• Scrape, copy, or resell the listings or scores in bulk.
• Upload information about other people that you do not have the right to share.
• Try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data.
• Use Match Moth for anything unlawful.

Listings come from third-party sources. We check sources to reduce dead or closed postings, but cannot guarantee that every listing is current, accurate, or still open, and do not control the companies behind them. Treat fit scores and AI summaries as a starting point, and verify the details before you apply.

Match Moth is in beta and provided “as is.” Features may change, break, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. It is free during the beta. If we introduce paid plans later, we will give you clear notice before any charge applies to you.

You can stop using Match Moth and delete your account at any time from Profile after confirming your password. The deletion details, including the limited backup-retention period, are in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms or risks harm to the service or other users.

To the extent the law allows, Match Moth is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on listings, scores, or summaries. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the product evolves; we will change the date above when we do, and continued use means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA.
