Software Developer for Advanced Security Operations Join our forward-deployed development team providing critical mission support to advanced security operations. As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with analysts and operators to deliver software solutions addressing complex cybersecurity challenges. Your work will span various stages of the pipeline, from aiding real-time operational tasks to enhancing analytical tools for decision-making in national security contexts. Responsibilities: • Develop data transformations for diverse formats including text, JSON, databases, XML, and configurations. • Gather user requirements and new application needs to understand project and customer demands. • Analyze unknown datasets and assist analysts in formulating effective queries. • Create tools that enhance the performance of applications and data transforms to process larger volumes of information. • Manage and support mission-critical servers for advanced security operations projects, acting as both a developer and system administrator. Required Skills: • Strong proficiency in Python programming. • Familiarity with dataframes using pandas or polars libraries. • Knowledge of SQL and various database systems such as SQLite, PostgreSQL, MySQL. • Understanding of git and GitLab for version control. • Comfortable working directly with customers and handling feedback effectively. Nice to Have: • AWS certifications. • Experience in DevOps CI/CD processes. • Familiarity with agency data processing and storage procedures. • Background in developing using AI agents. • Experience in advanced security operations. Experience Required: 8 years with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or 12 years without a degree Location: Columbia, MD Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required Salary Range: $148,000 - $177,000
