Salesforce Solution Architect - Sales Cloud at Perficient

Job description

We have an opportunity for a Salesforce Solution Architect with expertise in Sales Cloud. This role can be located anywhere in the United States. You'll get the best of both worlds: the energy and impact of a boutique team with a booming practice, backed by the scale, clients, and career pathways of a global digital consultancy. Perficient is the global AI-first consultancy. We empower every employee to build AI fluency and actively engage with AI tools to drive innovation and efficiency. We break boundaries, obsess over outcomes, and shape the future for our clients. Join a company where bold ideas and brilliant minds converge to redefine what’s possible - while building a career filled with growth, balance, and purpose. The pillars of being a successful Solution Architect at Perficient are: • Provide Salesforce architecture solutions for projects centered on Sales Cloud, with experience in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud. Revenue Cloud / CPQ expertise is a plus. • Work with the Sales team to accurately scope projects for new and existing customers. Describe the art of the possible. • Build deep relationships with customers, knowing their business better than they do, and leading them as a trusted advisor through the Salesforce ecosystem. When necessary, have the hard conversations. • Be the technical lead on the project and design the overall solution. That includes identifying risks and communicating early and often, fully understanding and following delivery methodology, and leading by example to support consultant growth. • Be the technology expert in the room. Deploy best practices to create technology with the right data model and architecture. Consciously grow your expertise and fill potential knowledge gaps. • Assist consultants in QA'ing User Stories, guiding their work, and ultimately owning the project's success. • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions across the sales lifecycle -- pipeline management, forecasting, opportunity management, and Einstein for Sales. • Leverage AI tools and Agentforce capabilities to enhance client outcomes and drive innovation within the Sales Cloud ecosystem. • 3+ years of consulting experience within the Salesforce ecosystem • Experience working as part of or leading a project team • Sales Cloud Consultant certification required; Service Cloud Consultant a plus • Experience delivering on the Experience Cloud platform a plus • Revenue Cloud / CPQ experience a plus • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and support data-informed delivery • Strong written and oral communication skills • Ability to communicate complex topics effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Who We're Looking For Technical depth gets you in the door. Beyond that, we're hiring for four qualities together, not any one in isolation: humble, hungry, and smart. • Humble — a team player first. You teach as readily as you learn, and you don't need to be the smartest person in the room to add value. • Hungry — genuinely curious and self-driven. You take on a new certification or course because you enjoy it, not because it's assigned, and you dig into unfamiliar problems until you've figured them out. • Smart — people-smart. You read a room, enjoy talking with customers, and can hold your own in front of a client audience. • Excited about AI — you're already using AI tools to work faster and deliver better outcomes, and you want to keep pushing on that. This is where our SF+ practice is headed, so it's a practical, non-negotiable skill, not a nice-to-have. The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
