Job description

Axonify is the AI-Powered Frontline Enablement Platform that helps organizations close the gap between learning and execution. By unifying learning, execution and insights capabilities, Axonify drives real business impacts for the world’s largest frontline organizations across retail, grocery, healthcare, and financial services. More than 4 million employees across 160+ countries rely on Axonify today. It’s an exciting time to join as we transform the company and build what’s next. We’re a team that thinks deeply, moves with intention, and embraces new ideas. We learn quickly, keep a sharp focus on real-world impact, and take meaningful action to drive progress. And we do it as one team, with openness, creativity, and a shared drive to keep pushing what’s possible The Role The Senior Product Manager (Frontline Execution) is a strategic role at the heart of Axonify’s product offering. You will define and own the strategy for a key area of our enterprise SaaS platform, balancing the delivery of prioritized initiatives with discovery to shape the longer-term vision and roadmap. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence the direction of our platform while driving customer value, adoption, retention, revenue, and growth. What You’ll Build • Drive customer and user research (qualitative + quantitative), define buyer personas, use cases, user workflows, and deeply understand the job your customer needs to do and the key unmet needs that unlock value. • Translate research and insights into prioritized product roadmap, requirements, user stories, release plans, and success metrics (KPIs). • Deliver solutions that span multiple interconnected product areas, ensuring they integrate cleanly with shared systems and administrative frameworks while respecting established platform boundaries. • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design/UX, QA, marketing, sales, operations, and support teams to deliver high-quality and high-impact features, coordinate product lifecycle changes, and orchestrate go-to-market launches. • AI-powered features and tools across the full lifecycle - from research and ideation to prototypes, development integrations, and customer feedback systems that enhance creativity, speed, and decision quality. • Customer-facing AI experiences with well-designed prompts, human-in-the-loop workflows, quality evaluation, and safeguards for reliability and control. • Ensure internal teams (sales, marketing, enablement) are enabled to sell and support your product. • Monitor product performance post-launch (usage metrics, adoption, retention, feedback), run experiments, iterate on features. • Contribute to product excellence through peer collaboration, shared discovery, and informal mentorship as needed. • Skillfully manage continuous customer & user input, navigate trade-offs, and ensure transparent alignment across the entire organization. What You’ll Bring • 5–7 years of experience in product management or related roles within a SaaS or enterprise technology environment. • Proven ability to translate complex business and user problems into clear, actionable product strategies. • Strong technical fluency - able to reason about data, system interactions, and implementation tradeoffs in partnership with engineering, without owning underlying platform architecture. • Experience leveraging product research and analytics to inform decisions, understand customer behavior, and track opportunities. • Practical understanding of modern AI-enabled workflows and how AI can be applied throughout the product lifecycle to enhance creativity, speed, and decision-making. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — with the ability to influence across teams and levels of the organization. • Exceptional organizational skills; proven success managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. • Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a team-first mindset. • Experience building products for frontline employees is strongly preferred, particularly within frontline enablement or adjacent retail technology areas such as point-of-sale, merchandising, planogram, inventory, or warehouse management solutions. • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred. • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and product management tools is strongly preferred. • Previous experience managing or mentoring junior product managers or product teams is strongly preferred. It's ok if your experience doesn't check every box! If you check off more than a few - great! We’d welcome a chance to get to know what you can bring, how you can add to our culture, and hear your unique story. Work Location We have a strong preference for candidates located in the Greater Boston area or within commuting distance of our Waterloo, Ontario, Canada office, as these locations provide opportunities for in-person collaboration with other Axonifers in the area. AI is a tool we use to learn fast, elevate our craft, and focus on the work that truly creates impact. That shows up in our hiring process too. We use AI-assisted tools to create a smoother, more organized, and ultimately more human candidate experience. These tools allow our team to spend more time on real conversations and thoughtful decision-making, the things that matter. What AI doesn’t do at Axonify is make hiring decisions. Every decision is made by real people, using real judgment and grounded in our values. Here’s what that means for you as a candidate: • Feel free to use AI to support your thinking - not replace it. We use AI to learn and level up, and you can too. • Be open about how you use AI if asked. Transparency helps us understand your process and how you approach problem-solving. • Stay authentic. We’re hiring people, not prompts, your ideas, your experiences, and your voice are what matter. Diversity & Accessibility We believe our team’s unique experiences, backgrounds, cultures, beliefs, and abilities add richness to our culture and depth to our ideas. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion creates an environment that supports, empowers, and delivers a sense of belonging for all team members.
