A mission-driven global leader in independent engineering for the renewable energy industry is hiring a Senior Engineer/Analyst for their Performance Engineering team in the Solar Advisory group. This role focuses on the design and development phase of the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include conducting high-quality solar resource assessments and energy estimates in response to client requests. You’ll also lead the development of methodologies and tools for solar energy engineering, exploring industry advancements and modeling techniques.

Responsibilities
• Compilation, validation and analysis of meteorological data for solar resource assessments
• Estimation of plant losses and calculation of assessment uncertainties
• Evaluation of project constraints and risks
• Generation of Energy Production Estimates and creation of Reports for Clients
• Communicating effectively with clients on complex technical issues
Requirements
• A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering
• c.8 years of related solar energy engineering/analysis experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate technical verbiage effectively
• Experience working directly with customers to present technical results/findings
• Heavily detail-orientated
