Senior Product Marketing Manager (Cybersecurity) at AppViewX

Job description

Senior Product Marketing Manager Location: United States (SF Bay Area preferred; Austin or Boston considered for the right candidate) About AppViewX AppViewX is trusted by Fortune 1000 organisations worldwide, including leading banks, healthcare providers, and enterprises to secure and manage digital identities. AppViewX is building the category for AI agent identity security. As enterprises deploy AI agents at scale, AppViewX gives security teams the visibility, governance, and control to do it safely. Our Agent Identity Security product discovers every agent in your environment, manages identities across their full lifecycle, enforces least-privilege access, and detects threats in real time. Our Values Our values define how we work, make decisions, and deliver for our customers and each other. Some reflect strengths deeply engrained in how we work. Others represent the standards we are committed to building together. We Do What We Say: We own our commitments, communicate honestly about progress, and measure success by results, not activity. We Are Trusted Experts: We continuously build our expertise, offer candid guidance, and focus on the outcomes our customers and colleagues need. We Raise the Bar: We stay curious, challenge the status quo, take smart risks, and turn better ideas into meaningful results. We Win Together: We share information, debate openly, commit together, and recognize that our success is connected to the success of our customers and teammates. If these values reflect how you want to work and contribute, you will find an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at AppViewX. Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the narrative and go-to-market strategy for Agent Identity Security, one of AppViewX’s highest-priority product lines. This is an individual contributor role where you will define positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and content for an emerging category without an established playbook. You will work directly with executive leadership and partner closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to launch products, shape the market, build competitive intelligence, and create content that moves opportunities through the funnel. Key Responsibilities: Own messaging, positioning, and product narratives for Agent Identity Security, and support broader AppViewX solutions and key capabilities as needed. Create sales enablement content such as pitch decks, solution briefs, battlecards, talk tracks, objection handling guides, sales plays, FAQs, and customer-facing assets. Partner with sales teams to understand buyer pain points, deal challenges, competitive pressure, and content needs across different stages of the sales cycle. Support product launches by working closely with Product Management, Project Management, Marketing, and cross-functional teams on launch messaging, content, enablement, and internal readiness. Work with the marketing team to support campaigns, events, webinars, and integrated programs with persona-relevant messaging and content. Build and maintain competitive intelligence, including competitor positioning, battlecards, win/loss insights, market trends, and differentiation points. Help define and execute sales plays by identifying target personas, pain points, triggers, messages, proof points, and supporting assets. Collaborate with Customer Success and customer-facing teams to capture customer use cases, outcomes, stories, and feedback that can inform content and messaging. Develop compelling presentations, web copy, product collateral, campaign content, webinar, and enablement materials that communicate the product story clearly. Stay current on AI agent adoption trends, agentic security buying behavior, and the evolving competitive landscape to sharpen positioning and go-to-market execution. Partner with executive leaders on Agent Identity Security go-to-market strategy, investor-level narratives, and high-profile customer and analyst conversations. What You Bring: You have launched something from scratch and can walk us through how you did it. You know the AI security space, or you know identity security well enough to get up to speed fast on how AI is changing it. Either works. Both is great. You can take something technically complex and make it land with a CISO. You have worked directly with senior executives and customers. You are a confident presenter. Whether it is a webinar, a customer briefing, or an industry event. AI tools are already part of how you work, not something you are planning to explore. You have built workflows that make you meaningfully faster at competitive research, content creation, or market analysis. You follow what is happening in AI and security closely enough to have an opinion. Bonus Points (Impress Us): You have built an AI-powered workflow for something most people still do manually, and you can show us what it produces. You have a point of view on what AI agent security means for enterprise risk, and you can articulate it without a slide deck in front of you. You have marketed a product in a category that did not fully exist yet and helped define what it means. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of product marketing or related experience in enterprise technology or cybersecurity. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. We care more about what you have done than where you went to school. Why AppViewX? AppViewX caters to a wide range of customers from Fortune 1000 companies, including six of the top ten global commercial banks, five of the top ten global media companies, and five of the top ten managed healthcare providers. Over the years, we grew our diverse team, perfected our automation platform, and expanded our global footprint to India, North America, United Kingdom, and Australia. Today, we are headquartered in New York City and have come a long way by optimizing opportunities to create lasting relationships with enterprises, gaining unshakable customer trust along the way. AppViewX is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. It is AppViewX’s policy to afford equal employment opportunities to all employees regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, citizenship status, gender, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, military or veteran status, pregnancy, disability, genetic information, arrest record, or other protected class under state, federal, or local law.
