Job description

ABOUT STARBRIDGE We're building the front door for how businesses partner with government in America. Public agencies spend roughly a trillion dollars a year with private companies, and nearly all of it still moves through infrastructure that hasn't changed in decades. Starbridge is building the full operating system for that relationship: the data, the signals, the workflows, and the rails that let a company find a public buyer, win the work, and get paid. We monitor 320,000+ public sector entities around the clock. 500+ customers have joined us since our launch in March. We've raised $50M from top investors including Craft and Michael Seibel of Y Combinator. About the role We're seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our rapidly growing team. This role offers the chance to be a part of a modern GTM team, engage with high-quality leads, and significantly impact Starbridge's growth trajectory. What you'll do: - Drive Sales Excellence: Manage the sales cycle from discovery to close. Most of your focus will be on closing deals, not prospecting — our Growth and Marketing teams keep pipelines full. - Build Strategic Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the SLED market, positioning Starbridge as a trusted partner. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction and inform product development. - Achieve and Exceed Targets: Consistently meet and surpass sales quotas, contributing to the company's overall success. Why you'll love this role: - Modern GTM Motion: Our team operates with a cutting-edge GTM approach, leveraging best-in-class tools and intent signals to punch above our weight — meaning you'll close more deals, faster, without endless cold outreach. - High-Quality Leads: Benefit from a steady stream of qualified leads, allowing you to focus on closing deals. - Career Growth: Join a fast-paced startup environment with ample opportunities for professional development and advancement. - Collaborative Culture: Be part of a supportive team that values innovation, collaboration, and achieving results. What you bring: - Proven Sales Experience: Minimum 2 years of successful experience in a closing role, preferably within B2B SaaS. - Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate value propositions and negotiate effectively. - Systems Thinking: Successfully building and demoing the Starbridge platform is like putting together a puzzle for your customers. No solutions engineers help here to answer the "tough" questions. The right candidate will be excited about this challenge. - Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic environment and able to pivot strategies as needed. - Bachelor's Degree: Required; field of study is flexible. Interview process We move fast — really fast. Getting back to someone today beats tomorrow, and our interview process reflects that mindset. Please keep us posted on your timeline so we can move quickly and speed things up where needed. All interviews are conducted via Google Meet. How we work - Build Bridges to Help Customers Win - We pride ourselves on being obsessively customer-centric. - Shooting Star Speed - We move with extreme speed. We value momentum, decisiveness, and the ability to accelerate when it matters. - Fun Is a Feature - We intentionally design Starbridge to be an energizing place to do hard work. Joy, humor, and camaraderie make great teams faster, sharper, and more resilient. - In the Arena - We believe the best ideas come from living close to the work, feeling the friction, hearing the nuance, and experiencing the details firsthand. Benefits include: - Competitive salary + early-stage equity - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance - Unlimited PTO - Regular offsites (NYC + global locations)
