Job description
Why Housecall Pro?
Help us build solutions that build better lives. At Housecall Pro, we show up to work every day to make a difference for real people: the home service professionals that support America’s 100 million homes. We’re all about the Pro, and dedicate our days to helping them streamline operations, scale their businesses, and—ultimately—save time so they can be with their families and live well.
While our headquarters are based in Denver, Colorado, our team spans the globe, with teammates across Brazil, Poland, the Philippines, Mexico, and beyond. We care deeply about our customers and foster a culture where our company, people and Pros grow and succeed together—no matter where they’re based. Leadership is as focused on growing team members’ careers as they expect their teams to be on creating solutions for Pros.
We also offer:
A generous benefits program that supports the whole you with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k)
Paid holidays and flexible, take-it-as-you-need-it paid time off
Equity in a rapidly growing startup backed by top-tier VCs
Monthly tech reimbursements
A culture built on innovation that values big ideas, no matter where they come from
Role Overview:
As a Product Operations Manager II, you are the product voice in our largest franchise and enterprise deals. You work closely with partners before and after they sign, leading discovery, identifying where their operations align with or differ from HCP’s capabilities, and designing a path to help them succeed. You work daily with partners, Business Development, Product Managers, and Engineering to turn complex operational requirements into solutions we can actually deliver.
You own the work everyone else makes decisions from: the gap analyses, the product scope in partner agreements, and the requirements our Product Managers build against. Getting those right means going a step past what a partner asked for to what their business actually needs, shaping a few workable options, and knowing which one you'd recommend before you bring it to Product.
Our team is passionate, empathetic, hard working, and above all else focused on improving the lives of our service professionals (our Pros). Our success is their success.
What you do each day:
Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with strategic partners to understand business requirements and technical needs
Lead partner calls and product demonstrations to showcase capabilities, surface constraints early, and build confidence in the solution,
Own detailed gap analyses, propose product solutions, and document product requirements
Translate partner feedback, business inputs, and usage data into actionable product requirements and prototypes that Product Managers can build from without redoing discovery
Collaborate with Engineering teams to support Application Programming Interface (API) integrations and enterprise technical solutions
Partner with Legal, Business Development, and Product teams on feature Statements of Work, product exhibits, and feature prioritization
Review prototypes and early builds with partners, validate fit against their real operations, and catch misalignment before launch rather than after
Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic partners while handling escalations and tracking feature delivery
Optimize workflows, product request backlogs, and escalation frameworks to accelerate feature delivery
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product operations, technical account management, customer success, or product management
Demonstrated ability to run discovery directly with enterprise or multi-location customers and translate what you hear into structured requirements
Proven track record leading enterprise software integrations, API solutions, and complex multi-stakeholder projects
Strong understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) business models and enterprise operations
Experience with product management tools (i.e. Jira Product Discovery, Confluence) and project tracking platforms
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, or enhance outputs
Willingness to travel as needed to support partners, typically 15-20% annually
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. Business, Product, Computer Science), or equivalent work experience
What will help you succeed in this role:
Exceptional breadth of interest shown through tangible, self-initiated ventures or deep community involvement; you love trying new things and may possess a demonstrated history of successfully pivoting or starting over in life and work
Strong technical aptitude; you can reason about integrations, data flows, and system constraints well enough to know when a partner's ask is a configuration problem versus a build
Excellent communication and presentation skills across executive and cross-functional audiences
Highly organized systems thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action
Customer-obsessed mindset with a passion for balancing partner advocacy with overarching business priorities
Location Dependent Information
This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000 + equity . The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits. Housecall Pro is growing fast and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
