Job description
Freelance Copywriter – Must be fluent in Portuguese
How We Strategize:
A laugh. A tear. A heart skipping a beat. A human reaction to something completely unexpected. This is what drives us . It’s also the inspiration for our name btw (an elevated blood pressure, since you ask) .
As a growing strategy team within the global powerhouse of 160over 90, we take the mantle of digging deep into the cultural currents of what people most care about today and tomorrow; attaching a brand to the right and relevant insights…and guiding the way ideas come to life across every/any part the marketing spectrum .
Is your heart beating faster yet?
Who You Are:
First and foremost , you’re serially curious; about brands, about people and the world around us . How all of it is changing and evolving. You’re plugged into culture; Interested and inspired by the now and next. Simply put, you love to ask (and understand) why.
You appreciate the value of others. Because we ask our leaders to inspire creative teams and nurture teams of strategists. To power the collective that gets us to bigger and better ; that gets us to wow . When in doubt, you do. Because you value courage over comfort. You always give a damn. About the client, the agency, the people and the work.
Success in this role requires the intellectual curiosity to stay at the forefront of cultural and category dynamics, the emotional intelligence to question and understand consumer behaviour and the collaborative spirit to work closely with internal creative, account, and project management teams. It also requires a certain confidence, gravitas and way with words (written and spoken) that means clients, listen.
Intrigued?
Responsibilities:
160 over 90 is elevated blood pressure. As our name suggests, we aim to make things that elicit an elevated emotional response. It’s all about elevation here. Elevating each other, the work, our clients, and the industry. To do that, we have priorities we live by:
IDEAS over EXECUTIONS
PARTNERSHIP over OWNERSHIP
COURAGE over COMFORT
CULTURE over EVERYTHING
If you join us, all we ask is that you live by these priorities. And while you’re at it, come up with big platform ideas that work across all mediums, write effective and impactful copy that makes our clients and our agency famous, and help out whenever and wherever needed.
Building presentation decks that bring ideas to life
Actively leading in brainstorms and coming up with marketing solutions
Critiquing headlines, body copy, social media content, presentation decks, concept statements, ads, scripts, websites, and more
Collaborate with internal departments and account team to ensure client timelines are met
Participate in edits and proofing of content delivered to clients
Identify opportunities for improvement
Accountable for making sound decisions surrounding the financial performance
Perform other duties as required
Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of experience
Understanding of how to create experiential events that generate content
Experience in both traditional and digital media
Ability to own a project, from beginning to end
Fluent in Portuguese and has a strong cultural understanding of Brazilian culture
How we work:
Publicis Media is at the center of sports, media, entertainment, and fashion and is a largely relationship-based business. To foster an environment of collaboration, develop our future talent, and build on relationships across leadership, peers, and teams, we work from the office 4 days per week.
