Senior Engineer - Advanced Security Operations This position involves working closely with analysts and operators to plan and architect solutions for offensive security operations problems. The role requires a deep understanding of mission objectives and data, as well as the ability to develop robust frontend and backend systems. Responsibilities: • Develop web applications that intuitively convey data and analysis. • Create data transformations for various types of data (text, JSON, databases, XML, configurations). • Facilitate customer interactions to gather feature requests and understand project needs. • Aid analysts in formulating the right questions based on mission objectives and data understanding. • Maintain and architect existing and new applications and transforms for better analytics representation. • Manage and support mission-critical servers, acting as a developer of server frameworks and system administrator when needed. Required Skills: • Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and React or another modern frontend framework (Angular, Vue). • Experience using Python for application development, scripting, and data manipulation. • Knowledge of dataframes (Pandas, Polars). • Comfortable with SQL as a language and experienced with different database flavors (SQLite, PostgreSQL, MySQL). • Understanding of git and GitLab for source control. Nice to Have: • AWS certifications. • DevOps CI/CD experience. • Experience with agency data processing and storage. • Experience developing using AI agents. • Advanced security operations experience. Experience Required: 12 years with Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or 16 years without degree Location: Columbia, MD Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required Salary Range: $204,000 - $247,000
