Job description

About us: BVNK is the stablecoin-powered financial stack for enterprises. We're now part of Mastercard, and together we're building a network for every form of money – one that delivers more reach, more capability and more choice. We enable businesses to build financial products, unlock new markets, and move money in seconds across 130+ countries, with 40+ licenses for fiat and digital assets globally. Processing billions annually, we empower enterprises worldwide to send, receive, convert, and settle stablecoins and fiat seamlessly through a single integration. Our mission is to accelerate global money movement, and we're assembling a world-class team to make it happen. Trusted by industry leaders like Corpay, Worldpay, Deel, and Flywire, we deliver the infrastructure that makes new forms of money usable within the financial systems customers already rely on today. By combining Mastercard's global payment reach and trusted networks with BVNK's stablecoin infrastructure, we're building the trusted operating layer for the evolution of money movement, helping customers participate in emerging digital networks without having to rebuild their businesses around every new innovation. We're a diverse team spread across EMEA, North America, and APAC, with a shared belief that stablecoins are the new infrastructure layer for financial services, and that BVNK is at the forefront of this shift. We're incredibly honored to have been recognized by: CNBC World's Top Fintech Companies (2026) FXC Intelligence Top 100 Cross-border Payment Companies (2026) Newsweek's The Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces (three years running, most recently 2025) LinkedIn as one of the Top 20 Startups in the UK (2025) About The Role: As a Solutions Engineer at BVNK, you will be a technical partner to our commercial teams and prospective customers throughout the sales process. You will lead the technical strategy for some of BVNK’s most complex and strategic opportunities, helping customers understand how BVNK’s products and infrastructure can support their business and technical requirements. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Delivery, combining deep technical expertise with strong commercial judgment and executive-level customer communication. You will be responsible for reducing technical uncertainty during the sales cycle, shaping scalable solution architectures, identifying risks and dependencies early, and ensuring that opportunities handed to Delivery are well-designed and ready for implementation. In addition to owning customer opportunities directly, you will help raise the technical standard of the broader Solutions Engineering organization through mentoring, reusable solution patterns, technical enablement, and cross-functional leadership. Key Areas of Responsibility: Act as the technical owner for strategic, complex, and enterprise customer opportunities throughout the sales process. Partner closely with Sales and Account Management to develop technical strategy, qualify opportunities, and progress deals toward successful close. Lead complex technical discovery across customer architecture, payment flows, integration requirements, regulatory considerations, operational processes, and business objectives. Design scalable end-to-end solutions using BVNK’s APIs, products, payment rails, stablecoin infrastructure, and supporting capabilities. Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear solution architectures, technical recommendations, and implementation approaches. Lead product demonstrations, technical workshops, architecture sessions, API discussions, and solution-design exercises with senior customer stakeholders. Own technical qualification and validation during the sales process, identifying technical risks, dependencies, product gaps, scalability considerations, and implementation constraints before a deal closes. Guide customers through complex architecture and integration decisions, balancing technical best practice, customer requirements, product capabilities, and commercial considerations. Lead technical components of enterprise procurement processes, including architecture reviews, security assessments, due diligence, and technical questionnaires. Develop proofs of concept and lead technical validation exercises where required to progress strategic opportunities. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to assess new and complex customer use cases, define solution approaches, and influence product development based on market requirements. Identify recurring customer requirements and product gaps, helping shape product strategy and roadmap prioritization. Establish clear implementation scope, solution architecture, dependencies, assumptions, and technical requirements before signed customers transition to Delivery. Provide structured and high-quality handoffs to Delivery, ensuring that customer objectives, architecture decisions, risks, dependencies, and commitments are clearly documented and understood. Build trusted relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders at customers and prospects, acting as a credible technical advisor throughout the sales process. Mentor and support other Solutions Engineers, providing guidance on solution design, technical discovery, deal strategy, and customer engagement. Contribute to the development of Solutions Engineering standards, methodologies, best practices, and operating processes. Develop reusable technical content, reference architectures, solution patterns, enablement materials, and internal documentation that help scale the global commercial organization. Support enablement of Sales, Account Management, and other commercial teams on BVNK’s products, technical capabilities, and solution positioning. Provide market, competitive, and customer insights back into BVNK to help shape product strategy, commercial strategy, and roadmap priorities. What we need from you: Significant experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally supporting complex enterprise customers. Strong technical understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, system architecture, and modern software integrations. Strong understanding of payments infrastructure, payment flows, and financial technology ecosystems. Experience with stablecoins, digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, or crypto payment rails is highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to design and communicate complex end-to-end technical solutions across multiple systems, products, and stakeholders. Experience owning technically complex enterprise sales opportunities from discovery through technical validation and close. Ability to identify technical risks, dependencies, and product gaps early while remaining pragmatic and solutions-oriented. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with software engineers, architects, product leaders, security teams, compliance stakeholders, and senior executives. Strong commercial judgment and a clear understanding of how technical decisions influence sales cycles, deal progression, implementation success, and long-term customer outcomes. Experience leading technical workshops, architecture discussions, product demonstrations, and executive-level customer conversations. Ability to manage multiple complex and high-priority opportunities simultaneously. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Sales, Product, Engineering, Compliance, Security, and Delivery. Experience mentoring or providing technical leadership to other Solutions Engineers is highly desirable. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, evolving environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. A proactive mindset, strong judgment, and a bias toward solving complex customer problems in a scalable way. We Offer: A fair and competitive salary at every stage of your career. Flexible working hours, with remote working at its heart. A flexible approach to holidays. Opportunities to travel to our offices around the world. A culture built on passionate growth-minded people. At BVNK, we are focused on building a diverse and inclusive team. While you may not meet all of our requirements, we’d encourage you to apply if you meet the majority of our expectations. You may be a great fit for this role or another role in our team. Compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications. USA Salary Ranges $180,000 — $220,000 USD
