About us:
BVNK is the stablecoin-powered financial stack for enterprises. We're now part of Mastercard, and together we're building a network for every form of money – one that delivers more reach, more capability and more choice.
We enable businesses to build financial products, unlock new markets, and move money in seconds across 130+ countries, with 40+ licenses for fiat and digital assets globally. Processing billions annually, we empower enterprises worldwide to send, receive, convert, and settle stablecoins and fiat seamlessly through a single integration.
Our mission is to accelerate global money movement, and we're assembling a world-class team to make it happen.
Trusted by industry leaders like Corpay, Worldpay, Deel, and Flywire, we deliver the infrastructure that makes new forms of money usable within the financial systems customers already rely on today.
By combining Mastercard's global payment reach and trusted networks with BVNK's stablecoin infrastructure, we're building the trusted operating layer for the evolution of money movement, helping customers participate in emerging digital networks without having to rebuild their businesses around every new innovation.
We're a diverse team spread across EMEA, North America, and APAC, with a shared belief that stablecoins are the new infrastructure layer for financial services, and that BVNK is at the forefront of this shift.
We're incredibly honored to have been recognized by:

About this role in the team:
We’re looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to join our team and own the growth of strategic client relationships across the Americas, reporting into the VP of Account Management
This is a sales-focused role for someone who knows how to turn existing customer relationships into meaningful revenue opportunities. You’ll own a portfolio of accounts, develop and execute account growth plans, identify new use cases, expand product adoption, negotiate commercial agreements, and build a strong pipeline of expansion opportunities.
You’ll work closely with Customer Success Managers to help clients unlock more value from BVNK while driving measurable commercial results. You’ll be accountable for growing revenue within your portfolio, protecting and expanding existing business, and identifying opportunities to deepen BVNK’s role in our customers’ payment infrastructure.
We’re looking for a proactive, entrepreneurial account manager who combines strong relationship-building skills with a sales hunter’s mindset. You should be comfortable owning commercial conversations, challenging the status quo, and consistently finding ways to grow your accounts.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Own account growth and revenue: Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue expansion, increase share of wallet, and grow the value of your portfolio.
Build and manage an expansion pipeline: Proactively identify, qualify, and progress upsell, cross-sell, new use case, and new market opportunities within existing accounts.
Drive commercial negotiations: Lead pricing discussions, contract renewals, and commercial negotiations to secure profitable growth and maximize long-term account value.
Identify new opportunities: Understand each customer’s business model, payment flows, growth strategy, and competitive landscape to uncover opportunities for BVNK to solve additional problems and win more business.
Own the customer relationship: Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, including executive stakeholders, commercial leaders, and operational teams. Establish BVNK as a strategic partner in their growth.
Deliver against commercial targets: Own revenue, expansion pipeline, forecasting, and account growth metrics. Maintain accurate CRM records and provide clear visibility into opportunities, risks, and expected outcomes.
Expand product and payment rail adoption: Identify opportunities to introduce additional BVNK products, payment rails, currencies, and capabilities that support customer growth and increase revenue.
Protect and grow existing business: Monitor account performance, commercial risks, and competitive threats. Develop proactive plans to retain revenue, strengthen relationships, and prevent avoidable churn.
Orchestrate internal teams: Mobilize Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and other stakeholders to progress customer opportunities and remove barriers to commercial growth.
Represent the customer and market: Bring customer feedback, competitive insights, and emerging market opportunities back to BVNK to inform our commercial strategy and product roadmap.
What we need from you:
A proven commercial track record: Demonstrable success in account management, customer success, or strategic account growth, with clear examples of expanding existing customer relationships and delivering against revenue targets.
A sales-first mindset: You’re proactive, commercially curious, and motivated by winning business. You don’t wait for opportunities to come to you; you find them, build a case, and close them.
Strong negotiation skills: Experience leading pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, contract renewals, and complex stakeholder conversations.
Payments or fintech experience: A solid understanding of payment infrastructure, cross-border payments, banking, fintech, or related financial services. Experience with stablecoins or digital assets is a strong advantage.
Enterprise relationship management: Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and building multi-threaded relationships across complex organizations.
Commercial and analytical acumen: The ability to understand customer economics, assess revenue potential, build account plans, maintain a credible pipeline, and prioritize opportunities based on commercial impact.
Ownership and accountability: You take responsibility for your portfolio, follow through on commitments, and are comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving environment.
Cross-functional leadership: The ability to mobilize internal teams and navigate complexity to move commercial opportunities forward.
Excellent communication and presentation skills: You can articulate value propositions, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex financial and technical concepts clearly.
Spanish language skills are a plus: Particularly valuable for developing relationships and driving growth across Latin America.
Location: Based in New York or San Francisco.
What you can expect from us:
Fair and competitive salary at every stage of your growth
Flexible working hours, with hybrid working at its heart
A culture built on passionate, growth-minded people
A flexible approach to holiday
Opportunities to travel to our offices around the world
An open and creative environment where you can help us define the future of BVNK, its culture, and its opportunity sets
At BVNK, we are focused on building a diverse and inclusive team. While you may not meet all of our requirements, we’d encourage you to apply if you meet the majority of our expectations. You may be a great fit for this role or another role in our team.
