The role This permanent role sits within an advanced Strategic Technology Exploration Platform, focusing on cutting‑edge research to create innovative solutions that merge communication and computing for next‑generation wireless networks. You will: • Lead design and development of advanced 6G communication networks • Conduct research on protocols, architectures and computing technologies for 6G • Develop innovative algorithms and AI/ML solutions to improve system performance • Oversee end‑to‑end R&D projects from feasibility through full‑scale implementation • Collaborate cross‑functionally to identify technology and market opportunities for the next 3‑10 years Your background • Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering or Computer Science • Minimum 5 years post‑doctoral experience in communication/network computing • Deep expertise in LTE and 5G NR architectures and emerging 6G technologies • Strong background in AI/ML, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high‑performance C/C++/Python programming • Proven track record of leading research projects and publishing in high‑impact venues • Experience with ORAN and MEC is a strong plus Location West Lafayette, Indiana At PER International we believe the best engineering teams are also the most diverse.
